The second card is one I made for a friends to give her mum as a belated Mother's day card

Anyway best get back to crafting so I can blog some more!!!!!!! By the way did I mention that I am now an Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator!!!!! Should be lots of fun!!!

Hope you have had a good weekend

Scallop punch flower cards

Over the past week I have had the pleasure of meeting with a mum from Lili's school to discuss what cards we are going to make for the school fete. She is a very talented card maker and I was completely blown away by her absolutely gorgeous cards. In fact I was mighty embarrassed at what I had to show her in comparison. She gave the best, yet most logical idea of making 2 of every card so that you always have one to go back to. I tend to make 1, give it away and then move on to the next interesting idea that I come across .

Anyway to cut a long story short she had made one of these cards at a workshop with Petronela (another super super talented lady and Stampin' Up! demonstrator). You can see all her beautiful creations on here.

I just changed the colours around.

Well what do you think?

Thanks for looking

Mum's birthday card!!!!

My Mums birthday was on Thursday but I couldn't find any time to make her a card with all the other happenings this week. Its always busy this time of year for us, with mother's day and birthdays.

Anyway this morning I had a little helper( um for lack of a better word lol) Miss Gracie got more ink on her fingers than I got on the card but she had fun!!!

This card is pretty simple but I like it.

Hope you all enjoy your weekend

Lili's Birthday card

We celebrated Lili's 7th birthday on Monday and she was desperate for me to make her a 'box card' in the paper she had chosen!!! So being a good mummy I got to work and made it for her. Only problem being that I still haven't given it to her yet LOL. I finished before her birthday and put it away forgetting about it till now.

oh well its the thought that counts right??

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

Happy Mothers day to all the mother's out there. I hope you have a fab day with your families. Hopefully you were spoilt with breakfast in bed and some nice pressies!!! I love how my kids buy such great presents from the school stall. Lili got me a little manicure set in a handbag shaped case and shopping list memo board that sticks on the fridge. Jazzy made a lovely gold glitter card and a drawing of herself. So cute.

I got my mothers day cards finished yesterday. The first one is for my MIL and I found the idea on Teneale Williams website. If you havent seen her work, you are missing out she is brilliant. If you pop over to www.tenealewilliams.com.au you can see what I mean.

The second is for my mum. Same sort of layout but in colours that my mum will love!!!

I used all Stampin' Up! products for these cards except for the Happy Mother's day stamp.

Anyway I'm off to get organised for Lili's birthday tomorrow.

Have a great day!!!!

Birthday cards

I was lucky enough this weekend to have 2 birthdays that I had to make cards for. It is such a good excuse to sit and craft my little heart out. I am also lucky that my MIL arrived today and took the kids off to the park so that I could get things done.

The first card is for a 21st.

I did a lot of embossing on this one. Actually I love this design and have made a few cards using it. I added a few Rhinestones for a bit of bling and that's the end result.

Next up is a card for a little girl from Jazzy's preschool. It is Jazzys first party from preschool and she is super excited. Although the background colour is brown, the flowers and stars are so bright that I thought it worked well for a girl card.

Well I think I am happy with them!!! I stuffed them into envelopes so I would stop analysing them LOL
What do you think??

Have a good weekend

AN EASEL CARD DRAWER

Hold on to your hats 3 blogs in 3 days crazy stuff LOL. I wanted to share this easel card that I made today and well it turned out better than I thought it would!!! For a first attempt I am quite happy.

It is a cute little box with 4 drawers and an easel card on the top. I hope to recreate this with some of my favourite paper. I got all the instructions from inksomething.blogspot.com. Its actually not as tricky as it looks!!

Hope this inspires you

A thankyou gift for the helpers

The school that my eldest daughter goes to is having a fete in September. We invited the parent to a craft night as her class has the craft stall!!!! I showed everyone how to make the little handbag gift box and they ALL turned out looking amazing!!!!!!!

As a thank you to the mums who gave up their Friday night for us I made a little Thank you chocolate box. I just wanted them to feel that their efforts were appreciated and I think they were well received.

A whole new corner !!!!!!!

I am sooooooooooooooo excited that finally after 5 years I have my very own space to craft!!!! No more plastic crates and no more searching for hours to find things!!!!! This has got to be the best mothers day present ever!!!!!!!

This is the before shot that I was whinging about a few months ago!!!

Wait for it

The brand new corner!!!

I love it so much I just keep opening the cupboard to admire the neatness inside LOL . Anyway I hope that this will keep me inspired to continue to craft and blog a bit more regularly.
